Pilates Teaching Program in South Tampa!
2025 DATES:
- June 6 - 8,: Anatomy of Movement and Mat Module
- June 20 - 22: Reformer Module 1
- June 27 - 29: Reformer Module 2
- July 11 - 13: Cadillac/Ladder Barrell/Wunda Chair
- July 25 - 27: Jumpboard & Group Teaching (separate module)
In this program we cover the Pilates exercises and different pieces of equipment in great detail.
Requirements to Start Program:
- 15 hours of Pilates class experience. Combination of Mat and Equipment classes preferred
- Injury free
Requirements for Completion:
- Pilates Philosophy, History, & Code of Ethics
- Anatomy & Movement Science: includes structural & movement analysis as well as injuries & conditions
- Mat Instructor training: Exercises, course work, written & practical test
- Reformer Instructor training: Exercises, course work, written & practical test
- Cadillac/Tower: Exercises, course work, written & practical test
- Chair: Exercises, course work, written & practical test
- 75 self practice hours, 115 student teaching hours, 75 Observation Hours. 20 observation hours for each module
- Final exam upon completion
Students will be able to utilize the Pilates by Dena studio for many of their observation hours, self practice, and student teaching.
Upon completing the teacher training program you will be able to take the PMA (Pilates Method Alliance) exam.
BRIDGE STUDENTSIf you have already completed portions of this Pilates training contact us to discuss joining individual weekend intensive trainings. To become a fully trained Pilates Instructor, students must complete the above requirements. Upon completion of all of the requirements, a certificate of completion will be issued.
