In 1998 she completed a 600-hour apprentice program with Susan Moran-Sheehy and Phoebe Higgins. She has taught dance and Pilates to people young and old, and the results are still inspiring to her. She opened the doors to Pilates by Dena, inc., a fully equipped Pilates studio in Tampa, FL in 2002.
